Leeds indie rock/alt band Apollo Junction have shared their new single “History“.
The band take their influence from a wide range of genres; New Romantic to 90 Brit pop, Disco to Motown and an extensive excavation into their parents record collections.
The song is out now through Shed Load Records, and is taken from their forthcoming third album (TBA), it follows the release of their latest single “By The River“. Buy it here.
Speaking about it, they go on to state:
“This song is different to anything we’ve ever done before. Being on album 3, we wanted to push our musical boundaries as far as we could and create a song that appeals to all of us at some point in our lives. There are moments lyrically when we touch upon subjects that we often find difficult to talk about. We’ve all been through the ups and downs of life. We hope this encourages others to speak out. We’re only human after all.”
