Brooklyn/Pittsburgh -based jangle pop/indie rock/dram pop band Colatura have unveiled the video for their latest single “Do You Miss Her“.
The song is part of our current playlist and came out last month (October 25). Get it here.
Colatura writes music that is sometimes dreamy, sometimes heavy, with pop-leaning melodies and fuzzy guitars. The band performed at SXSW ’24, as part of the Space Agency Booking showcase at Hotel Vegas, and at the Women That Rock showcase, presented by Austin Monthly. In previous years they have been official artists at SXSW, NXNE, and New Colossus Festivals. They’ve also performed at Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party.
The band have shared a stage with acts such as Nation of Language, Hinds, Toledo, Pom Pom Squad, Thao, Sea Lemon, Thick, Been Stellar and Jessica Lea Mayfield, among many others. 2022 saw the release of their debut album, ‘And Then I’ll Be Happy,’ which they supported with a sold out show at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn and with two US tours. In July of 2024 they released ‘suffer dude,’ the first single of an A/B side produced by Aron Kobayashi Ritch of Momma. The band recently signed a booking contract with Annibale Records.
The video is perfect for fans of horror movies, ghosts, dark woods, existential dread, and other spooky things. Watch it below.
