Creux Lies Unleash New Single "Frozen"

Sacramento, California post-punk/new wave/dark wave band Creux Lies have unleashed their new single “Frozen“.

The song, written and composed by the band, is out now and marks their first new music in two years. Speaking about it, they shared:

“Frozen,” is an enthralling track that embodies our classic dark Creux style while infusing production elements inspired by some of our favorite 80’s hip-hop tracks – lot’s of analog synths on this one.

As the one and only Californian “Partygothers,” Creux Lies has always embraced diverse sounds and influences that shape our music, and “Frozen” is a standout representation of our evolving identity.

In our quest for authenticity, we have been writing tirelessly, experimenting with different styles and sounds to find the perfect blend that resonates with our vision. The addition of our new synth player, Jon Mak, has been transformative for our creative process. His innovative approach and mastery of synth textures and instrument talents have aided in exploring new dimensions in our sound, bringing a fresh-fierce energy and vibrant complexity to our work.

“Frozen” showcases this evolution beautifully, combining dark, atmospheric melodies with infectious rhythms that invite you to both reflect and dance. The interplay of haunting vocals and rich synth layers draws you in, while the nod to 80s hip hop production adds a unique twist that sets this track apart. Get ready to embrace a fogged out floor with us soon.
