Berlin-based electronic/disco/new wave duo Die Grillen have revealed their new single “Shivering Silence”.
Die Grillen is a collaborative project between Chilean graphic artist Danae and German producer Gats. Drawing inspiration from cultural criticism and the syncretism of living between cultures, they infuse layers of depth into their music. “Die Grillen” invites you to immerse yourself in their nocturnal symphonies to trespass subcultural boundaries.
“Shivering Silence” is a bold and urgent musical statement that critiques the unsettling realities of today’s political landscape. With an eclectic fusion of New Wave, Disco, Electronic, and Rock they deliver a track that is both haunting and danceable—urging listeners to confront the noise beneath the quiet, through the diverse dimensions of post-music genres while captivating with its often unique aesthetics.
