Brighton psychedelic-punk/post punk band Egyptian Blue have dropped the video for their 2021 single “Salt“, featuring comedian/actor Tim Key.
The band’s highly-anticipated debut album ‘A Living Commodity‘, produced by Theo Verney (English Teacher, Lazarus Kane, FUR), is out next week, October 27th through Yala Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking about the video, they told RS UK: “We made this video in the weeks prior to the release of our single Salt, split between London and Brighton. It was a pleasure to work with someone like Tim Key for a music video, he played the role we were visualising perfectly.”
“The video follows the lyrics closely – stuck in the daily grind in a rut, like some kind of unwanted lethargic addiction. At the tipping edge of insanity entering a delusional world, one that you’re delusionally content with.”
