Egyptian Blue Unleash New Single/Video "To Be Felt"

Brighton psychedelic-punk/post punk band Egyptian Blue have unleashed their new single “To Be Felt“, and its accompanying video.

The track features on their highly-anticipated debut album ‘A Living Commodity‘, produced by Theo Verney, due out on October 27th through Yala Records. Pre-order your copy here.

Speaking about it vocalist/guitarist Andy Buss, says:

“”To Be Felt” was written at a time I was fresh out of a relationship and feeling a certain disconnect from the world when once you have that someone to experience things with, suddenly the cord has been cut. It coincides with the notion of feeling invisible and longing to be felt to have connection to be back in a comfortable but new reality.

Watch the Jonathan Waller-directed video below.

The band’s grinding riffs achieve a mesmeric power through brute repetition, while their rhythm section produces taut, nervous energy and intense post-punk grooves in equal measure. With a new clarity of vision fully formed during the extended hiatus of 2-years of pandemic enforced delays, A Living Commodity represents a dynamic artistic shift from Egyptian Blue and showcases in full the scale and ambition of their songwriting.
