Holler Unveil New Single "Doubt"

Brighton indie pop four-piece Holler have unveiled their new single “Doubt“.

The song is out now and follows on from their debut EP ‘Ever Since I Met You’, released in September last year. Grab it here.

Holler draws inspiration from genre-defining acts such as Slowdive, Inhaler, and Swim School, while crafting their own distinct sound. This stylistic sound had helped them build a significant fan following.

For Doubt, the band temed-up with acclaimed producer Guy Page (known for his work with Coach Party), and the band’s signature guitar-led sound shines brighter than ever on the song, with its stylistic blend of reverb-soaked whimsy and infectious energy and emotive vocals. Lyrically, ‘Doubt’ finds Holler going a bit deeper – it’s about connection, and urging a close friend to drop their guard, and allowing themselves to be vulnerable.

Commenting on the track, Holler shared:

“‘DOUBT’ was written about a close friend of mine, and their struggles around entering a new relationship, due to feeling trapped within their own thoughts, worries, and doubts. It can be hard to allow yourself to be fully vulnerable with someone, until you feel that you share complete trust with one another. This track tells that story and expresses my own feelings and advice.”
