James Announce New Album 'Yummy', Stream "Is This Love"

Manchester legends James have announced the release of their 18th studio album ‘Yummy‘, and have shared their new single “Is This Love“.

Produced by Leo Abrahams (Jon Hopkins, Brian Eno, Jarvis Cocker, Imogen Heap and Regina Spektor) and mixed by Cenzo Townsend (Courteeners, The Specials, Everything Everything), the record will be out on 12th April via Virgin Music, available to pre-order from the 25th of January.

Described as a “soaring” and “lush” track, “Is This Love” captures the band’s signature lyrical potency and sweeping arrangements. Tim Booth, the band’s frontman, describes the single as, “Love as a bomb, a tsunami that rolls over our life as we cling to the wreckage of our peace of mind.” Grab it here.

The band have also announced they will embark on a major UK tour, including the new Co-op Live Arena in Manchester and culminating at The O2 in London.
