Brighton indie rock/indie pop/psych band Lime Garden have unleashed the video for their latest single “Love Song“.
The song is taken from their forthcoming debut full-length album ‘One More Thing‘, produced by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey, Yard Act), which will be out on February 16th through So Young Records. Pre-order your copy here.
One More Thing is the band’s love letter to the indie music they surrounded themselves with in their formative years, as well as a statement of love, fear, gratitude and embracing imperfections.
Speaking about “Love Song”, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Chloe Howard said: “Annabel wrote the tune in her bedroom, when she was in a musical slump and had been listening to a lot of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and LCD Soundsystem. We had been trying to write an “upbeat” song for months and finally this appeared. Lyrically the song explores jumping into joy and love even when you feel you are not worthy of it. Embracing your cringe and not caring what others think.”
