Minneapolis, MN indie punk/alternative trio Loki’s Folly have dropped the video for their latest single “Beaches and Peaches“.
The song is part of our current playlist and is taken from their debut album ‘Sisu,’ released last month (Feb. 21) via Kitten Robot Records. Grab it here.
Loki’s Folly are two young sisters and a brother who like to play loud music that makes them happy. Annie (age 21) plays guitar and sings, Nissa (age 16) plays the drum set and sings and Oskar (age 12) plays the bass. Each brings their unique personality to the music, and their sound is gelled by the blend of their sibling voices singing together.
“Beaches and Peaches” felt like the perfect dichotomy description of the uncertain and uncomfortable future that seems imminent, “[we’re] maybe trying to bring some humor into the anxiety over things like climate change, politics, and where humanity will be in the next number of years.”
The video was directed, shot and edited by Mika Larson. Watch it below.
