Canadian indie rock band Mal Fantôme have premiered the video for their new single “Higher“.
The song features on their upcoming third album (TBA) and features Roger Joseph Manning Jr on keyboards, the prince of power pop himself.
Known as one of the founding members of cult band Jellyfish, Roger is also part of Beck’s band and played with Air, Cheap Trick, Blink182 and Roger Waters to name a few.

Mal Fantôme’s takes inspiration by artists as varied as Interpol, David Bowie, Joy Division, Beck, Spoon, The Afghan Whigs, Burt Bacharach, Doves, New Order, David Sylvian, American Music Club and many more.
The group started in 2010 and recorded “Half Empty / Half Full” its first album (released in 2018) and has been releasing new singles and videos almost every month from the beginning of 2019 until the pandemic hit. “Volcano”, their second album, came out in 2021.
