Maximo Park Air "The End Can Be As Good As The Start"

Newcastle indie rock band Maximo Park have aired their new single “The End Can Be As Good As The Start“, and its accompanying video.

The track features on their forthcoming album ‘Stream of Life’, due to be released on September 27 via Lower Third. Pre-order your copy here.

Last month the band began to introduce the new album with the lean and direct single “Your Own Worst Enemy”, which zeroed in on the cyclical nature of mistake making. New cut “The End Can Be As Good As The Start” sees them soar in the slipstream of brisk power-pop while considering what it takes to preserve belief in the future.

Lead singer Paul Smith had the following to say about it: “It’s an exuberant New Wave-y alt-pop-rocker about faith, solidarity and sustaining relationships in the face of society’s structural hurdles.”
