Glasgow art rock/post punk/alt band Mickey 9s have unleashed their new single “Impossibility“, and its accompanying video.

About Mickey 9s
Mickey 9s is one of the most exciting bands to see live. The irreverent 4-piece combines elements of dance, punk and hip hop into a blistering, genre-defying groove that regularly sends crowds into a frenzy.
It all started when they saw Daft Punk live and decided that this was the kind of music they wanted to make. Upon returning home the boys ditched their guitars and bought cheap synthesizers, hoping to join the electronic renaissance that was happening in the UK at the time.
After countless nights of basslines, bleeps, buzzes and beats in the rehearsal studio, they realised that it wasn’t working. However, instead of ditching the idea altogether, the group combined electronic elements with heavy, distorted guitars. The resultant genre-defying groove has helped establish the group as one of the best live acts in the country, with fans flocking to see their high-energy live performances. There are some who call it ‘Post-Funk / Evil Disco’.
