Los Angeles new wave legends Missing Persons have aired a lyric video for their latest single “King 4 A Day“.
The track features on their recent album ‘Hollywood Lie‘, released in November last year via Cleopatra Records. Grab it here if you haven’t already.
The visionary album revives the band’s vintage sound and extraordinarily catchy songwriting.
Including all original material themed around the familiar story of a young starlet caught up in the glitz, glamor and empty promises of Hollywood, this is without a doubt the best album the band has done since their ’80s heyday!
Speaking about the album, lead singer Dale Bozzio said: “It’s about my deep concern for all the people suffering with depression, living a double life or just getting caught up in the glitz and glamour and empty promises of Hollywood. It’s dedicated to Len Holness, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s character Gatsby and the fashion designer Halston.”
The record also features guest performances by Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens, The Knack’s Niles Prescott, and producer/co-writer Adam Hamilton of L.A. Guns!
