Same Eyes “Venice” Lyrics:
You Trip Me Up
I never understood just quite what it was you really want
So tell me what you really want
Indecisive
I know we called it lust but I once felt love
Was the it stars above
Still you feel it
I wanna feel it too well how’s it feel to be you
Is what they all say true
But you know me better
A chase could never cast my eyes oh the other way
No darling not today
Do you remember sun coming in through the window
Bathed in light the only image I saw was you
Bleary eyed you could see my skin through my t shirt
Born in October but I lost me head in June
Moved in September
Room in the corner strangers sleeping on either side
I didn’t mind
Was used in the army
Once held like 10 or 12 bunks I swear to god like 20 men
Way back then
Do you remember sun coming in through the window
Bathed in light the only image I saw was you
Bleary eyed you could see my skin through my t shirt
Born in October but I lost me head in June
