About Broken Glass EP:
Broken Glass is led by the title track ‘Broken Glass’ – an abridged re-working of an acid-dripping machine folk music opus from Rhythm of the Rubicon. The EP additionally features three previously unreleased tracks, ‘Dinosaur’, ‘Playing Games With Equality’ and ‘Everybody Tells Me I Had A Good Time Last Night’.
“The other three tracks originated from the same sessions at PRAH studios, Margate, that produced Rhythm Of The Rubicon. Extended, nocturnal machine jams that time has added to. ‘Dinosaur’ in part deals with the destruction of social housing around Elephant and Castle in London (where SDF rehearse). ‘Playing Games With Equality’ is possibly libellous so we can’t say who it’s about. ‘Everybody Tells Me I Had A Good Time Last Night’ comes from a party Lucy went to in Wales. It does what it says on the tin…” SDF
