North Staffordshire indie rock band Shader have released the video for their newest single “Satellite”.
The track came out last month (February 21) and follows on from their debut album, ‘Everything is Connected‘, released in 2022. Get it here.
SHADER are known for delivering an eclectic swirl of huge melodic guitar riffs & northern grooves colliding with addictive arena-sized choruses. Satellite is a bold statement track succinctly pairing the band’s northern swagger to maximum effect with huge guitar riffs, pounding, thrashing drums and reverberating, punchy vocals: its a perfect storm of indie rock n roll.
With this song, frontman Stu Whiston’s songwriting abilities are truly shown. The timing and delivery of the vocals have a distinct, felt precision, and when combined with those infectious chorus hooks and that northern grit, it truly encapsulates everything Shader is about as a band, setting their future intentions clear as to which direction they are headed.
Speaking about it, Whiston states:
“Satellite is a song about finding that feeling of satisfaction and comfort that navigates a person forward in life, whilst at the same time being emotionally aware to question the trick of these feelings and their validity.”
