Greek dream pop / shoegaze / indie band Sugar For The Pill have revealed their new single “Cherry Blossom”, and its accompanying music video.
The song is the final preview from their highly -anticipated sophomore album, produced and mixed with Jordan Lawlor (former member of M83), out on May 23 via Shelflife Records and Make Me Happy records. They have previously shared “Luv” and “Anelia”. Get it here.
Commenting on the track and video, the band shared:
“This song explores that tender instant when something ends, yet a new season quietly begins, like spring after winter…
The accompanying music video, shot in abandoned buildings across Athens and New York, echoes the song’s themes of wandering through lost moments and cities that shift and fade – a tribute to the places that shape us.“

Sugar For The Pill “Cherry Blossom” Lyrics:
You learn to say goodbye to faces,
To keep them in your heart and go on…
I’m still looking for you in all the places
I shook my head and whispered to you…
Winter is dead
Unfall in love
Dry your eyes beneath the cherry blossoms.
I had left the memory here, beside the river,
And the part of you that knows it was wrong
Pretending luv is safer than believing
I only knew the camera was on
Winter is dead
Unfall in love
Dry your eyes beneath the cherry blossoms.
