British electronic duo The Chemical Brothers (made up of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons) have aired the video for their latest single “Skipping Like A Stone” featuring Beck.
The track features on their recently released tenth studio album ‘For That Beautiful Feeling‘, out now through Republic Records/Virgin EMI. Get it here.
About the collaboration, Beck said: “The Chemical Brothers have a great predilection for exploration. They kind of sit in an unusual place between different eras of electronic music and DJ culture. It’s like they have one foot in multiple decades at the same time in a way that is utterly unique among their peers.”
Directed by New York based duo Pensacola, the video features the world’s greatest stone skipper, Kurt Steiner, known as “The Mountain Man”, who won the Guinness World Record for stone skipping.

The Chemical Brothers originated in Manchester in 1989. Along with The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, The Crystal Method and fellow acts, they were pioneers at bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture.
The duo have won a number of awards throughout their career, including four Grammy Awards—twice for Best Electronic/Dance Album, and in 2000 won the Brit Award for Best British Dance Act.
