Aussie indie/electronic band Tijuana Cartel, led by Paul George and Carey O’Sullivan, have aired the video for their newest single “Believe In Nothing“.
The song came out last month through Beat and Path and is the second taste of their upcoming album ‘Alectura‘. Grab it here.
About the inspiration behind the track, George explained: “We’ve all experienced the gut-wrenching feeling of letting down someone we care about, and in this case, it was a close friend. Believe In Nothing is a way for us to confront and process those emotions, while creating a song that we hope will resonate with others going through similar experiences.”
O’Sullivan added, “Our goal with Believe In Nothing is to capture the raw emotion of realising you’ve hurt someone you love, and the determination to make amends. We wanted to create a track that tells a story and evokes strong emotions, while still maintaining the melodic house sound that our fans have come to expect from us.”

Tijuana Cartel have established themselves on the Australian music scene as one of the country’s most exciting live acts, combining the sounds of the Middle East, India and Spain with a psychedelic and atmospheric approach to song writing.
The four-piece formed on the Gold Coast in the 1990s and have since built a firm reputation as a global force.
