Cincinnati, OH indie pop/ indie rock band Walk The Moon have aired the video for their latest single “Mono No Aware“.
The song is taken from their new album ‘The Liftaway‘, described as a “farewell-for-now album”, out today, November 17 via RCA Records. Buy it here.
The band is now going on an indefinite hiatus, as they announced back in July. “The time has come for us to take a long break from touring and making records together,” frontman/singer/keyboardist Nicholas Petricca said. “We are lovingly making space for new creations, for family, to serve our well-being and the well-being of WALK THE MOON. When we do reconvene, that will be a glorious day. And the truth is, we don’t know when that’s gonna be”.
Of the track, they said: “Mono No Aware – an ode to endings and beginnings… “Mono No Aware” is a Japanese expression for the bittersweet truth that all things must change.”
