Manchester indie guitar/psych pop band Afflecks Palace have aired the video for their new single “I’m So Glad You’re on Ecstasy“.
The song is the latest preview of their forthcoming sophomore album ‘The Only Light In This Tunnel Is The Oncoming Train‘, due out in Spring 2023. Get it here.

Formed in Manchester in summer 2019, the psyche guitar band, described as “The birth of Nu-Madchester” by online curation platform Manchester Lemon, take influence from The Stone Roses, Kurt Vile, The Smiths, The Las and The Durutti Column.
Since their inception following a jam session between friends and an unshakable catchy hook (which would result in initial single and fan-favourite ‘Forever Young’), Afflecks Palace have always taken a truly DIY approach.
Choosing to write, produce and release music through their own indie label; Spirit Of Spike Island, hire venues nationwide to tour on their own terms, create their own music videos from conception, and organise screen-printed self-designed merch, their unstoppable independent work ethic has given them full artistic control – which has spawned an excited underground UK scene which continues to grow with label-mates; Pastel, Vega Rally & Ava Carlyle all gaining huge interest throughout 2022.
