Brooklyn post punk/cold wave/new wave band Bootblacks have revealed their new single “Wilderness“.
The track is the second taste of the forthcoming album “Paradise” (TBA) due out next year through Artoffact Records. The have previously shared “Forbidden Flames“.
Speaking about it, the band shared: “We have been trying to experiment more with electronic music and sounds on this album. “Wilderness” is one of those songs where we’ve incorporated stricter electro elements and is representative towards the new approach and style we’re building on the album. We’re big fans of juxtaposition so its tone and structure are somewhat darker but yet still upbeat.“

Bootblacks current line-up consist of Panther Almqvist (Vocals), Kalle Fagerberg (Guitars), Barrett Hiatt (Synth). Since the group’s founding in 2010, they have been enthralling audiences with their frenetic live shows from North America to Europe. Their sound is described as a balance of contradictions: both pensive and buoyant, referential and modern.
