Washington, DC indie rock/dream pop/indie-psych band Color Palette (led by Jay Nemeye) have unleashed the video for their latest single “Rear View“.
The song is part of our current playlist and came out in July, it is the first single off of a new full-length album, which will be released later this year/early next year. Get it here.
From the band: “Rear View” is an upbeat + dancy indie rock jam. It’s a breakup song – the kind of breakup song that evokes independence and positivity, aptly summarized by the chorus lyric “press restart and I’m on my way”. Musically, it falls somewhere in between Yeah Yeah Yeahs x Metric (lots of synths, hard hitting drums, big guitars).
