Washington based dark-wave/post punk/goth trio Datura have announced their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Songs From A Dark House‘.
Along with the announcement the band have also shared the lead single “Tired“. The record will be co-released with Engineer Records (U.K.) and Bat-Cave Productions (Poland) on April 18. Pre-order your copy here.
Datura are: David ( Vocals/Guitar), Jake (Bass), Tiffany (Drums). Their sound recalls goth-rock and post-rock influences like The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, The Chameleons, Depeche Mode, and early Dead Can Dance.
The new album features 11 new tracks that showcase the band’s brooding but oft-times infectious song-craft and serves as a very natural follow up to their first full-length, Arcano Chemical (2022).
