Orange County-based indie pop/soft rock/alt duo Double Wish, made up of multi-instrumentalists Philippe Andre and Adam Sabolick, have unveiled the Yppah Remix of their track “Fever Dream”.

The original song features on their debut EP Light Split Sparkle, released back in March via Hit the North Records.

Commenting on the track, they say: “This is a song about racing against the clock. It’s about time slipping through your fingers, and opportunities that got away. It’s about mustering up the desire, will, and energy to manifest a future that triumphs those misfortunes. This is a song about your future self.

About the Long Beach producer Yppah rework, Adam Sabolick says: “It’s rad to hear another artist’s perspective on your work, taking it to places I would’ve never imagined. I’ve been a fan of Yppah’s sun-bleached electronic music for some time, and was psyched to learn that he was a fan of our work.”Where you are, and where you want to be. What you are, and what you can be.”

Double Wish “Fever Dream” Lyrics:

Seven six five four three two one
Calmly defeated
Defenses to convince myself
Negotiating
All the things that can turn on a dime
Future’s looking for me

Doesn’t matter if you don’t need it’s your turn
Blending into every single
Evidence of blur
To keep it turning
And all the things that can turn out alright
Future’s looking for me

Deeper than an ocean
Further than the stars
Is it really slipping?
A fall that never stops

And all the things that can turn out alright
The futures looking for me

Deeper than an ocean
Further than the stars
Is it really slipping?
A fall that never stops
Try again on Monday
Tuesday? I forgot
Wednesday turns to Thursday
Friday never comes
The weekend’s looking for me
Is it already gone?
