Belgian indie /alt /dream pop artist Few Bits have unleashed their new single “Brick Houses“, alongside a music video.
The track is taken from their upcoming album, due to be released in Spring 2025 via Mayway Records. Get it here.
Whispering Indian summer throughout, ‘Brick Houses’ is brilliantly produced dream pop and blissful indie, graced with the heavenly voice of frontwoman Karolien Van Ransbeeck. Think Still Corners and a touch of Mazzy Star and Fleetwood Mac (‘You Make Loving Fun’!).
Their previous records garnered praise from critics, fans, and fellow artists alike. The band have supported The War On Drugs twice during both ‘Lost In The Dream’ and ‘A Deeper Understanding’ tours in 2014 and 2017. Their growing recognition led to performances at prestigious events such as SXSW in Austin, Texas, and Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
After the birth of her daughter in 2019, Karolien went on a musical hiatus until she started to feel the itch again in 2022, prompting her to bring the band back together. The new album features colourful reflections on both present and past, where imagination and desire intersect.
