Vancouver, BC new wave/post punk band Girlfriends and Boyfriends have aired their new single “Lovers in a Dangerous Time“, alongside a music video.

Raw punk energy meets refined shades of new wave, post-punk, and indie rock on this new release. Following the success of 2021’s brilliant Fallacy of Fairness, the band is back with Lost in the Noise, a retrospective featuring two brand new tracks (“Lovers in a Dangerous Time,” “Lost in the Noise”) plus six earlier recordings previously never released on any physical format. The title track is an instant classic, complete with a massive sax solo for good measure.
Lead single “Lovers in a Dangerous Time” covers Bruce Cockburn’s 1984 classic with confidence; it’s a captivating take and sure to become your summer anthem of 2024.
