Swedish electronic duo Hatif, made up of Markus Majdalani and Johan Eckerström, have reveled their new single “Disappear in Seoul” and its accompanying video.
The track features on their industrial-tinged 4-track EP ‘Silent Elevators‘, out today, November 17 via Town And Towers Records. Grab it here.
“Disappear in Seoul” is the opening track. It’s a highway of throbbing and howling synths around a theme of being lost in a foreign environment. Influences to the EP are our times and struggles, and musical references such as Joy Division and Gesaffelstein.
Hatif formed in 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Markus Majdalani and Johan Eckerström. Prior to Silent Elevators, the band has released one full-length album in 2022, several singles and has appeared on international compilations.
