Portugal-based indie/dream pop/alt/shoegaze band Hause Plants have released their new single “Watering A Flower“.
The song, written, composed, recorded, and produced by the band’s Guilherme Machado Correia is out now through Spirit Goth Records. It follows on from the “Não Sou De Cá” EP, released in September.
Hause Plants is the product of teenage years in Lisbon’s nightclubs and bars surrounded by live music and listening to The Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Rapture. With their catchy melodies, and energetic live shows, Hause Plants quickly rose to prominence in Lisbon, and have been keeping busy since their formation in late 2020.

Hause Plants “Watering A Flower” Lyrics:
How can I live inside my head in the summer?
meet me here we’ll make some plans as if we’re lovers
how you spend your days
with all stuff around you?
I don’t mind, I don’t mind
how you spend my time
how you brush my hair
I just don’t care, if I can be with you
don’t you rather stay at home away from people?
all the faces that surround you looking creepy
lay down in the dark
busy, tired and sleepy
I don’t mind, I don’t mind
how you spend my time
how you brush my hair
I just don’t care, if I can be with you
