Speaking about it Hongza says: “‘Cold Days’ is about a toxic relationship that I had with a person who was my employer and friend. I realised that I was being manipulated and finally was able to break away from that situation. I wanted the track’s sonics to represent my anger.

Hongza “Cold Days” Lyrics:

Cold days creep in
Missing out on seasons
Friendships weaken
You act like I’ve committed treason

You break me
Played me about
Snaked me
So lost and used I now know why I’m

Confused and blinded by the sunlight
I feel so cold around you again
They see me crying at the road signs
I crossed the path of a vile ex friend
A vile ex friend

Worn down inside
But raging on the outside
Trauma disguised
By words spat out in real time

Confused and blinded by the sunlight
I feel so cold around you again
They see me crying at the road signs
I crossed the path of a vile ex friend
A vile ex friend
