Spanish post punk / darkwave / electronic duo HUIR, made up of Ana Of The Head and David Solazo, have unveiled their new single “Lovers“.
The track features on their upcoming EP ‘Triumphal Arch Lovers‘, produced, mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon) and due to be released on April 12 via Cold Transmission. Pre-order it here.
“Triumphal Arch Lovers” is an EP about self-help, about not being afraid of anything or anyone, we have captured in these 4 songs the toxicity of some relationships and friendships, bad energies and bad thoughts, talking about them you can overcome them and find peace. Live in the dark but happy.
Of the new single, they share: “Your lover appeared and you chained yourself to him. You look for him in the night, in solitude and in your mind. You miss him. But he misses you too? It hurts, it will always hurt. You have given him everything and although you expect nothing from him, when he comes back, you don’t want him to leave. You hold on to the hope of remaining lovers forever”
