French coldwave/darkwave/post punk band Jesus Lives In Vegas have dropped their new single “Story of You” and its accompanying video.

Commenting on the record, they say:
This record marks a new phase in our discography. It’s a new step up in terms of composition, experimentation, and arrangements. Guitars have been somewhat set aside in favor of synthesisers, while the coldness and melodies of the bass, along with the sincere and melancholic tones of the vocals, have been carefully preserved. Drum-machine beats deliver a relentless, mechanical rhythm.
This evolution in sound represents a shift towards a more electro-dark aesthetic, prioritising precision and atmosphere over traditional post-punk elements. The result is a sonic landscape that is both nostalgic and forward-looking, capturing the essence of contemporary musical experimentation.
Lyrically, the songs delve into the complexity of human emotions, ranging from the ecstasy of love to the darkest corners of the soul, inviting listeners to explore the depths of their own feelings.
