Orlando, Florida electronic/dream pop/indie project Midi Memory (the side project of Cathedral Bells‘ Matt Messore) has unveiled his new single “Take the Life Out of Me“.
The song is out today, October 31, and follows on from his album ‘Far Gone And Out‘, released earlier this year through Born Losers Records.
Pulling from dark wave and synth pop influences, Messore layers rich analog Roland tones with driving drum loops. He writes expansive tracks that fill the spectrum with coinciding bright and dark tones. Midi Memory brings cold wave sounds that resonate with those who are passionate about the minimal synth.

Midi Memory “take the life out of me” Lyrics:
Take the life out of me
You only wanna dance on my grave
You caught me at the right time to play
Falling into your world
And it’s all in my head
How did I get here
Driving all through the night
Said you needed a ride
Driving all through the night
We’ve made it to the end of the road
The outer limits somewhere unknown
Falling into your world
And it’s all in my head
Take the life out of me
Driving all through the night
You only wanna dance on my grave
You caught me at the right time to play
Falling into your world
And it’s all in my head
