Russian post punk/new wave/dream-pop band Motorama have revealed the video for their latest single “Dreams“.
The track is part of our current playlist and is lifted from their recent album ‘Sleep, and I will sing‘, which came out last month (May 17). Grab your copy here.
Check out the video below.
Motorama formed in 2005, the group has received popularity not only in Russia but also abroad, especially in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Vladislav Parshin’s vocals have often been compared with the voice of Ian Curtis, the frontman of the British band Joy Division. Motorama’s singles demonstrate a more melodic and ghostly sound than Joy Division’s dark and fast paced punk.
Motorama “Dreams” Lyrics:
I slept so many dreams
Close to reality
So many dreams in anxiety
So many dreams
Soft as clouds
I slept so many dreams
Where I laughed
So many dreams, where I was falling
So many dreams, someone was calling
So many dreams, where I flew
I slept so many dreams
With you
I slept so many dreams, sleeping like a log
So many dreams in the fog
I slept so many dreams, where I ran
So many dreams, where I fell
So many dreams, where I fell down the stairs
So many dreams, alone and scared
So many dreams in a single bed
So many dreams
Holding your hand
So many dreams
Where I was drowning
So many dreams
Someone was calling
So many dreams
Dressed and naked
I slept so many dreams
It’s time to wake up
