My Raining Stars Announces New LP 'Momentum', Airs "For Good"

French dream pop/shoegaze/indie pop artist My Raining Stars has announced the release of his third studio album ‘Momentum‘.

The announcement comes with the release of new single “For Good” and its accompanying video. The 10- track record will be out on March 21 by Shelflife and Too Good To Be True.  Pre-order your copy here.

My Raining Stars formed as a solo project in 1998 by Thierry Haliniak. In the early 90s, Thierry was in a band called Nothing To Be Done that performed with artists such as The Boo Radleys, Adorable, and Moose. Being raised by much of the music of those times, especially influenced by the legendary C86 era and bands from Creation Records and Sarah Records, Thierry has a knack of writing classic pop songs.

For the follow-up to 2022’s “89 Memories”, Haliniak re-recorded 10 songs, some old, some new, between October 2023 and April 2024, assisted by danish multi-instrumentalist Casper Iskov on production, recording and mixing. The result is 10 new pop songs but with a clear desire for a more noisy sound on certain tracks.
