Brooklyn post punk/new wave/synth-pop outfit Nation Of Language have dropped the Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard Remix of their track “Across That Fine Line“.
The original version of the song is taken from their 2021’s album ‘A Way Forward‘, the band have also announced several of their biggest headline performances to date.
The British DJ/producer has turned the track into an unpredictable, thunderous arrangement of synth and percussion.
Commenting on the remix, Nation of Language’s Ian Devaney says, “As someone who works mostly alone, it can be fascinating to hear other artists I admire reframing one of our songs. The way they choose certain moments to accentuate takes me back to the writing process when all of these ideas were first stitched together.”
