Bern, Switzerland dark wave / post punk /minimal synth band Plague Pits have announced the release of their sophomore album “Bukolik“.
Along with the announcement they have also shared a new track and video, “Sleep of the Just”. The follow-up to last year’s debut Creatures, will be out on July 12 via Transnecropolitan. Pre-order your copy here.
Inspired by the D.I.Y. electronic tape underground of yore, Plague Pits play disco dirges for the Anthropocene – cold wave for a heating planet.
The video for “Sleep of the Just” features footage taken from the 1943 experimental film “Meshes of the Afternoon” by Maya Derren and Alexandr Hackenschmied.
