Red Sun 1981 “Diver Down” Lyrics:
When hope is gone
your eyes withdrawn
It’s an endless race
lift your downcast face
The fear and dread
alive or dead
you start to pray
you want to run away
Save us all
save us from the loneliness
(I want to run away)
Free us all
free us from the hopelessness
(we’re in too deep)
Save us all
save us from the loneliness
I want to run away
I want to run away
This walking sleep
and wounds that weep
kinda make you frown
turn it upside down
This pain won’t quit
I see through it
no matter what they say
I’ll let it go today
Save us all
save us from the loneliness
(I want to run away)
Free us all
free us from the hopelessness
(we’re in too deep)
Save us all
save us from the loneliness
I want to run away
I want to run away
