
Los Angeles new wave/post punk/synth pop duo Sacred Skin (made up of Brian Tarney and Brian DaMert FKA Second Skin) have shared their new single “Bitter Heart“.
‘Bitter Heart’ is actually a cover; the original song was written and performed by famous actor/comedian Ricky Gervais and his friend Bill Macrae, who had a short synth pop/new wave career during the 80s with their band Seona Dancing.
Formed in the Spring of 2020 Sacred Skin balances between new wave heartthrob royalty—akin to Talk Talk or The Fixx—and glittering, emotional post-punk. They are currently working on their sophomore album.
