English indie rockers The Pigeon Detectives have unleashed the video for their latest single “Summer Girl“.
The song features on their forthcoming sixth album ‘TV Show‘, produced by Rich Turvey (Blossoms / The Courteeners / The Coral / Vistas / Oscar Lang / Jamie Webster), set to arrive on 7 July via Dance To The Radio. Pre-order your copy here.
According to the press, the album holds onto the infectious energy that drove the band to huge audiences on their early records, but has a contemporary feel to the production, arrangements and lyrics reflecting a band that have honed their craft and grown as a band and people.
Of the track, the band shared: “This is an ode to covid lockdown relationships and the joy of coming out the other side and enjoying that 2021 summer of freedom together!”
