The Utopiates Release New Single/Video "Reputation"

London based indie rock/baggy/alt band The Utopiates have released their new single “Reputation“, alongside a music video.

The song is out now via V2 Records serves as the second taste from their highly-anticipated sophomore album due out in late 2025. They have previously shared “Neighbourhood“. Get it here.

Following on from the success of their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises’ (2023), The Utopiates are one of the most prolific new bands out there. They spent the first part of 2024 recording and mixing 11 brand new tracks at The Nave in Leeds (Yard Act, Kaiser Chiefs).

Speaking about the single, the band’s singer Dan, says: “I wrote this song while in a typically immature sulk with my girlfriend. It’s about always having the same arguments with your significant other and losing your cool but also knowing you’ll always come crawling back for forgiveness. Even if you might have had a point!

It’s such a groovy stomper and we reckon people will definitely wanna move to it.” He added.
