VLURE Return With New Single “Better Days”

Glasgow post punk/synth/electronic five-piece VLURE have returned with their brand new single “Better Days“, their first in two years.

The song is out now via Music For Nations, and marks their first new music since 2023’s Heaven Sent EP. Buy it here.

Written by brothers Conor and Niall Goldie and produced by Conor alongside Manni D, the rave anthem draws influence from 90s dance music pioneers such as Orbital, Underworld, and Faithless. Speaking about it, they shared:

‘Better Days’ is an ode to friends and every night we spent figuring out life, whilst holding hands; every mad afters, every time we hugged and had each other’s backs through the shit, the friends we lost along the way, and the new ones yet to be made. It crescendos with a nod to the future and an acknowledgement that although we’ve grown together, no matter how hard life gets, we will always have those nights, and all the other days and nights yet to come.”

About VLURE

VLURE are Hamish Hutcheson (vocals), Alexandra Pearson (vocals/synths), Conor Goldie (programming/production/guitar), Niall Goldie (bass), and Carlo Kriekaard (drums). Together they defy the rules, rip up trends and create new ones. With a certain honesty and a vulnerability, they confront you and get under your skin. The five piece blur the lines between live electronics, jarring guitars and the performance sensibilities of their post-punk contemporaries. Synth laden hooks and heavy club influenced rhythms find their way twisting around emotionally confronting lyrics.

The band are currently working on their hishgly-anticipated debut LP.
