German indie rock/glam-punk band LOBSTERBOMB have released their debut album ‘Look Out‘, and is our new Album of the Week.
Formed in Berlin in 2020, LOBSTERBOMB consist of Nico Rosch, Vik Chi and Crayon Jones. The band approaches themes of personal introspection, desire for systemic change and also individual growth through a lens of frenetic, loud and catchy indie-garage rock.
Of the album, Nico shared: “It’s a beautifully rough rollercoaster ride through our subconscious minds. We called the album ‘Look Out’ because lyrically our songs are quite observational about our lives and experiences. The songs reflect the world as we see it in the moment.”
“We have a little something for everyone on the album – if you want a rock banger to jump around to there is ‘Lifeline’, if you want some post-punk with feminist lyrics we have is ‘What About Never’ and if you prefer things a little more indie pop then start with ‘Run’ – plus a bunch of songs that fit somewhere in-between!”
