Scunthorpe, UK indie pop/dream pop band Bungalow (the brainchild of songwriter/producer Joe Russell-Brown) have unleashed their new single “Bloom“.
Continuing to work in his home studio (a bungalow), Bungalow comes from the want to be seen as a band and explore different sounds within that realm.
The song is out today (Jan 27), get it here and stream it below.
Joe Russell-Brown creates songs in a cluttered bungalow, in the middle of industrial suburbia. Birthed form boredom, friends and his hometown, the purpose of this project is to lack pretence and understand itself. From acoustic songwriter to dream-pop band leader, the artist is a champion of lo-fi anthems.
Bungalow “Bloom” Lyrics:
You make me feel like I’m brand new
Can I make you feel like that too?
I really do hope you know
Who you are and what you’re here for
Monkey see, monkey do
All for you
So hang loose is what I choose
I love the bones of you
You make me feel like I’m in bloom
Do you feel the way that I do?
I really do hope you know
Who you are and what you’re here for
Monkey see, monkey do
All for you
So hang loose is what I choose
The sun is overused
I love the bones of you
Do you want me too?
