Casket Cassette Reveals "Crying in the Club" Music Video

Los Angeles post punk / darkwave / synthpop / electronic artist Casket Cassette (aka Constant Williams) has revealed the video for his track “Crying in the Club“.

The song features on his album ‘Love Letters to Ghosts‘, which came out in November last year. Buy it here if you haven’t already.

Thematically, Williams’ songs frequently focus on heavy topics like mental health, breakdown, abuse, and healing process, while also bringing bright spots. The songwriting often combines optimism with pain and grief in a clearly distinguishable mixture, and musically, Casket Cassette seem firmly based on the groundbreaking underground sounds of eighties post punk. His recent EP ‘Losses’ featuring Gossip Cult and Carrellee, came out last month (April 12).

Casket Cassette “Crying in the Club” Lyrics:

Pull me close
In your arms I will reside, alive, again
Let me know, I don’t wanna be alive tomorrow
Again

The water’s not enough
And life is getting tough
It’ll be alright, hold me close
We’re crying in the club

My life falls apart again, let me go
My life
Never thought I’d see the light tomorrow
Again

The water’s not enough
And life is getting tough
It’ll be alright, hold me close
We’re crying in the club
