Vienna avant-trash/art-pop duo Cousines Like Shit have released their new single “Boring” alongside an accompanying video.
The song serves as the second taste from their upcoming sophomore album ‘PERMANENT EARTHQUAKE‘, set to arrive on March 21 through Seayou Records. Pre-order your copy here. They have previously shared “NO”.
Cousines like Shit is an Avant Trash duo, consisting of of two real life cousins Laura and Hannah Breitfuss. Through critical punchlines, they proclaim their views on social phenomenons and the paradox of human beings. Known for their “Avant Trash” sound; a blend of lo-fi, indie-pop and punk, coupled with sharp and ironic lyrics, the cousines’ unique style is text-focused and underpinned by simple but catchy melodies.
Together with their live band, consisting of bass and drums, they deliver a raw energy on stage that will secure them a place in the international indie music scene.
