Brooklyn shoegaze/nouveau wave band Dead Leaf Echo have shared their new single “Call“.
The song, produced by frontman LG Galleon and mixed by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Depeche Mode), features on their forthcoming album ‘The Mercy of Women’, out soon via Lost In Ohio and PaperCup Music. Buy it here.
LG Galleon describes the track as “a callous yet determined person’s attempts to wade through agony for a chance at redemption.”

Dead Leaf Echo’s debut LP, Thought and Language, came out in 2013. Strongly influenced by many 4AD acts, brought into sharp focus by the mixing of John Fryer (Lush, NIN, Depeche Mode). The band maintains a distinctive ethos, embracing their idols while still forging their own sound. They have since released numerous EPs, singles, and remixes, in addition to creating a collection of experimental film videos that unveil their unique style of Nouveau Wave.
The latest EP BOO was released in April by Moon Sound Records.
