Netherlands noise rock / punk / indie band Death Sells have unveiled their new single “State of Mind“.
The track is the second taste of their upcoming EP, set to arrive on June 28.
“State of Mind” is a song about walking alone in the streets, feeling empty after a night out. Intoxicated, avoiding true feelings, waking through the alleys, and confronting your loneliness. With haunting melodies and lyrics, the song captures the overwhelming emotions of solitude, self-reflection, and destruction.
Death Sells is a Dutch band that bridges the gap between indie, grunge, noise and punk. Quite clever how the band manages to mix the music of Blood Red Shoes, Wet Leg and Amyl And The Sniffers into a new genre.
This newborn band is still playing in a pool of tinnitus-inducing dissonance, bone-breaking riffs and songs more relatable than your average tiktok feed. That doesn’t mean they don’t come off as fierce as they actually are.
