Manchester indie rock/ indie pop band Delights have shared their new single “Two Times Over” and its accompanying video.
The song is out now via Modern Sky UK, and will be part of their upcoming debut album (TBA). Grab it here.
Of the track, frontman Adam Maxwell said:
“Two Times Over was written as a sort a mirror to where we see ourselves as a band – both personally and as a collective. It’s a wider reflection on where we stand at this very moment – contemplating our past and looking toward the future. The song is also something of a tongue in cheek character portrayal; that person who’s still out there living for the weekend, whilst all their friends are growing up and moving on with their lives – ‘shall we do it all again tomorrow?‘.”
“It’s been a year since we’ve shared any new music and we’ve been locked away making the best body of work we possibly could. We’ve matured; grown as a band and group of best mates. Acts like LCD Soundsystem were definitely an influence on Two Times Over, but this song is just one piece of a much more eclectic puzzle…” He added.

Delights are Adam Maxwell (vocals), Ben Kirkland (bass), Ben Squires (guitar), Leo Willis (drums) and Cameron Stephenson (percussion). Taking influences from bands such as Peace and Kula Shaker, but also having an eclectic collection of other genres to take inspiration from, the band merge styles to create an original dreampop indie sound but with hints of baggy and psychedelic rock. Delights will also be appearing at Golden Touch Festival on Saturday 8th June.
